Our partner, Sharna Dolan Favuzza, is the head of our Estate and Trust Planning Practice. She is a dynamic, thorough and smart attorney who cares deeply about her clients and helps them achieve their objectives.

She built her heart-centered practice to address our clients’ most important concerns: their families, their health, their homes and their financial assets, including their businesses. She provides her clients with estate planning that encompasses asset protection, business succession planning, long-term care and Medicaid planning, as required by her clients’ needs. She also provides probate, real estate, litigation and employment law advice. She advocates for her clients before all Massachusetts courts, especially the Probate Court, handling estate, guardianship, trust, real estate and conservatorship litigation.

Her practice is built on deep client relationships. She has become a trusted advisor by understanding the need to balance the unique emotional and legal concerns facing each of her clients. After learning about their needs and financial circumstances, she helps create estate plans, trusts, wills and other documents necessary to help clients meet their objectives, including the care of their children and elderly parents.

Sharna collaborates closely with professional partners such as financial, insurance and tax advisors to create an integrated team approach for her clients. Her experience in real estate and probate litigation are an invaluable resource, assisting her to develop customized and comprehensive plans that meet her clients’ current goals and anticipate future needs, considering diverse assets, evolving family dynamics or family crises.

Sharna is actively involved in her community. She is a founding member of the Women’s Business League and sits on its Advisory Board. She is active in the Reading-North Reading Chamber of Commerce and Wakefield Chamber of Commerce.

Sharna is a 2008 graduate of New England School of Law. She is a member of Wealth Counsel and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA). In 2018, Sharna was recognized as a Rising Star in Estate Planning by Massachusetts Super Lawyers, a publication showcasing top-rated attorneys in specific practice areas.

Sharna is a caring attorney, helping our clients take on the most important, difficult and emotionally charged tasks on their to-do lists. Her goal is to educate her clients and give them peace of mind. Using her competence and compassion, she successfully provides an experience that makes her clients feel fully supported and less anxious about planning for their future.
